Blue Ox

Problem: A Ramada Inn in Georgia was being renovated and re-opened as a Wingate. To send their laundry out during the renovation would have cost $10,000 to $15,000 each month for the year during renovation. The property needed a temporary laundry at a minimum cost.

Solution: Install (2) BluOx Modified B&C SP-40 softmount 350G washing machines.

Results:

The softmount washers allowed a temporary laundry to be set up in a former guest room without modifications to the foundation.
Also, hot water requirements were minimized to a point that it could be sourced from the hot water from the sink in the temporary laundry.
The hotel converted its hot water for the rooms to an on-demand system.
The combination of BluOx and the on-demand hot water system resulted in an overall reduction of over 50% in natural gas consumed by the entire property.
BluOx saves the laundry 95% of its hot water, 50% of its water/sewer; 50% of its chemicals.

Saves over 300,000 gallons of water/sewer per year.
Saves enough natural gas to supply 5 average homes year round.
Eliminates use of alkali, chlorine bleach, acid and softener from wash process.
