Problem: A Sheraton hotel in Pennsylvania needed to expand its laundry capacity.
Since the laundry was in the basement with service elevator access only, size
options were limited. The hotel had hoped for a high extract washer, but access
limitations would not accommodate the washer they wanted.

Solution: Sheraton installed a 60# BluOx Modified Washer, softmount 350G washing machine.

Results:

The 20 minute cycle produces the same poundage per hour as a 100# machine, but the high extract means sheets go straight from the washer to the ironer without pre-drying, a significant time and labor savings.
Linen is sanitized at a rate 30 times higher than traditional laundry specs.
The BluOx Modified Washer saves the Hotel over $1,500 per month in gas, water/sewer and chemical savings. Payback for the price difference between the BluOx Modified Washer and the original specified washer is under 4 months and the washer paid for itself in about 1 year.
