Optimization - Rethinking the Laundry
Only BluOx can produce a cold water wash using half the chemicals, half the water,
in one-third less time. (to learn more, click BluOx Science)
The science behind BluOx is based on special washer/extractors modified to be able to use cold water super-saturated with high levels of dissolved ozone coupled with unique ozone injection equipment capable of delivering high levels of ozonated water virtually throughout the entire wash cycle. BluOx safely applies 5 to 10 times as much ozone as any of the leading ozone laundry systems. (Patent Pending)

Washing Equipment - BluOx equipped washers maximize the efficiency and capability of your laundry operations. While BluOx washing machines maximize savings in ozone and cold water mode, BluOx also performs all traditional hot water formulas. Wash formulas are programmed for different applications which can include ozone only, no ozone, or a combination of the two. The BluOx can even be programmed for Wet-Cleaning. All of these applications can be run interchangeably by just pushing the appropriate program wash formula number on the keypad.
In the event maintenance or repair is needed on the BluOx Ozone Pack, BluOx washers can run non-ozone formulas at a moment's notice. We are aware that a laundry cannot afford to be out of commission due to our equipment.
Washer repairs are available by local dealers, as with any traditional washer. Parts for BluOx ozone supply can be ordered thru local BluOx dealers or direct from BluOx. We also offer extended service contracts where all equipment related to the ozone supply is monitored and maintained as necessary. Laundry Chemistry - Through their years of ozone laundry experience, BluOx principles have worked with all the major chemical suppliers in the country. This experience includes joint testing in a lab that was done with Ecolab and Anderson chemicals. Both of those programs ultimately led to those companies developing an ozone friendly line of laundry chemistry. We have also worked with Ecolab to develop recommended ozone formulas and coordinate all of our installs with their technical support division in Minnesota. We have also been involved with numerous successful installs with Diversey and UNX as well as several other regional suppliers. Install - BluOx modified washers use standard water and electrical hook-ups. Standard foundation requirements for hardmount and softmount washers apply as well as standard drain specifications. The BluOx Ozone supply is wall mounted behind the washer(s). For most laundry applications, one computer controlled ozone source feeds all the washers in the laundry which minimizes wall space (typically 2' x 4' of wall space). Electrical requirements for the BluOx ozone Pack is 120 volt with minimum 20 amps of circuit protection.
Personnel - Proper training is always key. "Greening" your laundry can come up against many obstacles, most common of which is resistance to change. Education should include how to identify the ozone system is working according to specs (some ozone systems make this simple step all but impossible), what it takes to trouble shoot the system, coordination with the chemical rep (including an overview of how ozone effects the laundry chemistry, what potential issues to watch for, and how to respond to those issues); safety; and the limitations of ozone. We have also found that it takes more than an initial training to assure long-term success. Numerous questions often don't arise until after the system has been in operation for awhile. Accordingly, we offer on-going training and re-training programs. Our remote diagnostics allow us to monitor that our ozone equipment is working to spec and that laundry personnel are implementing appropriate formulas, etc. We'll even monitor the equipment to make sure the air filters air properly cleaned and maintained.
